How to get to Poland from Ukraine
Poland is one of Ukrainians’ most popular destinations to escape from war. This is due to the country’s convenient location, employment opportunities, and language similarity. If you are planning to relocate to Poland, Ukrzalisnytsia can help. Currently, there are regular trains to Poland from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia. Tickets for these trains and for return journeys can be purchased on the Ukrzaliznytsia website. It is currently not possible to purchase tickets from Ukrzaliznytsia box offices due to fraud concerns. Prices for full voyages vary from UAH 1,000-1,500 ($27-40).
How to get to Austria and Hungary from Ukraine
It is possible to travel by train to Austria and Hungary via the Ukrzaliznytsia train from Kyiv to Vienna via Budapest. It should be noted that tickets for this train can only be purchased at international ticket offices. Ticket prices start at UAH 900 ($24). This train passes through the following stations: Stryi, Volovets, Mukachevo, Zahon, Demecher, Debrecen, Pustekladany, Kishuisallash, Solnok, Budapest-Kehlenfeld, Gyor, and Hedyeshhalom. The train runs daily. From Austria, you also have the option to continue your journey to Germany and obtain temporary protection there.

At this time, there are no direct trains from Ukraine to Prague, but it is possible to get there with a transfer in the Polish city of Przemyśl.
