The 90s rock group will be accompanied by Pale Blue Eyes, The Kairos, The Pigeon Detectives, Maximo Park and Editors.

But as well as set times and last-minute tickets, there could be more information you are hoping to find out.

Here is some advice for travel, bag rules, banned items from the venue and more.

Travel advice for James at Darlington Arena – how can I get there?

Planning your travel to a music event can often be stressful, so we have put together some travel advice to hopefully make your journey to a night of James a little easier, according to the fan guide by Liz Hobbs Group.

On the day, there will be several road closures and parking suspensions put in place.

Parking

There is limited parking available at Darlington Arena and must be booked in advance.

The car park can only be accessed from the town end of Neasham Road as the A66 will be closed.

Cars will only be allowed to leave the premises 15 minutes after the event has finished to allow for the safe exit of concertgoers.

Council car parks in the centre of Darlington will be free from midday on a first come first served basis.

The website adds: “Parking restrictions will be in place around the arena. A local residents parking scheme is in place on event days preventing parking on local and nearby streets.

“Enforcement Officers will be on patrol on the day and cars parked in breach of parking regulations may be fined or removed.”

For those who have a Blue Badge, there are a number of parking spaces available which must be booked in advance.

Shuttle buses

Other transport such as the shuttle buses will run from the Dolphin Centre (DL1 5RP) from midday on Saturday, with buses leaving at regular intervals.

It’s been advised that people should book the shuttle service.

There will be a taxi drop-off point in operation at Darlington Arena.

However, there is no parking or drop-offs on or near the A66.
