Never be without your portable charger, cables, earphones, and more.

Despite traveling solo, I carry enough tech gear that could keep a small family entertained. Here’s my day-to-day kit: two portable batteries, SD cards for my photography work, three laptops, multiple cameras, my iPhone, an iPad mini, plus all the matching charging cables, adaptors, and a USB hub. Of course, as someone who works from home, most of these stay put in my office. But when it comes to traveling, it’s essentially impossible for me to pack light.

I recently went on a month-long international trip, which required me to downsize on the gear I travel with. The biggest challenge, though, would be finding a way to pack everything in my personal bag—not in my carry-on or check-in luggage. In order to lower the possibility of losing anything to near to none, I looked into finding a tech case that could hold all the accessories I needed for one digital camera, three laptops, an iPhone, and an iPad. It had to be small enough to fit into my backpack, but roomy and compact enough to securely hold and protect everything in it. And, of course, I was hoping to find something really affordable.

Caookdk Electronics Organizer Bag

The Caookdk tech organizer held almost everything I needed to travel with. From tiny, easy-to-lose audio jack adapters for my iPhone and iPad to a dense portable battery pack I use to recharge all my devices, there was a pocket for everything.

Divided by two large zipper compartments that fully open up, the bag includes four sides of pockets (all in the interior of the bag). One side has six pockets, and the other just two. Seven of the eight pockets are made of mesh and have elastic straps to keep your items tucked in; the only pocket that doesn’t have an elastic band is just an open sleeve, but is also the largest size of the bunch. I used the small mesh pockets to house one pair of wired earphones, two USB-C and lightning audio jack adapters, two short charging cables, four SD memory cards, and a port hub. The other side held a 6-foot charging cable, a plug adapter, and a small power bank. I also did manage to fit an external hard drive just within size—not in any of the pockets—and it still zipped up easily. (Yes, this is my “light” gear.)

With all this tech gear, you want to make sure that they’re not only organized, but that everything is properly protected and secured. Luckily, this organizer is waterproof and features just enough cushioning so nothing is clunking around when it’s fully zipped up. I had an unfortunate—but fortunate for testing purposes—accident that really proved the waterproof aspect of the bag; I had a leaky water bottle in my backpack, but the organizer was perfectly dry in pristine condition.

The average person will probably not carry as much gear as me. But if this organizer can satisfy someone who doesn’t know what traveling lightly is like, I can imagine parents, students, and other tech collectors will not be disappointed with the storage capacity and compact size of this organizer. And with prices starting at less than $7, it’s a no-brainer for day-to-day use or for when you travel. Find it in 11 different colors, ranging from a classic black to pastel and bolder hues.
